Culture Day


Three cheers to the Inter-Cultural Committee for a most fun-filled Culture Day.


In the Upper School teachers and students put together presentations and activities featuring countries like:
Korea (Eric and Andy)
Russia (David S. and Chris)
Southeast Asia (Suzannah and Emily)
Philippines (Val, Raha, and Antoi)
Uganda (Joe and John)
Thailand (Yod, Yui, and Buab), and the
United States (Jay and Griffin).
The 10th Graders presented a Christmas in UK Activity, while the 9th Graders presented a modern-day version of the Shakespere play Julius Caesar under the tutelage of their Social Studies teacher Ms Suzannah.


Students in Grades 4-6 learned about other cultures through presentations on the United States (Julie and Karla, Victor and Alan), Canada (David M and Joseph, Willow and Brian), England (Todd D and Todd N), Scotland (Paula and Suda), Ireland (Tara and Sunanta), Puerto Rico (Javier and Don), and China (Chinese Dept.)


The little ones in Grades 1-3 spent their day exploring
Mexico (Betty and Jeap, Stacie, Elisabeth and Ning)
China (Susan and Amy)
Saudi Arabia (Kim and Tan)
Taiwan (Chinese Dept.),
Vietnam (Kara and Pia, Kari and Nathan), and
South Africa (Shawnee and Shanesz).


The Kindergarten classes visited Burma and the Philippines (Nilar, Nancy, Carie, Grace, Rajinee, and Shira).
