New Entries in School Photo Album

Five albums have been added to our online album http://community.webshots.com/user/tcisnews this morning. These are the Upper School honor students for the 1st quarter, taken this morning after the flag raising ceremonies, and the rest are photos from the Grade 8 trip to the Sattahip Naval Base this weekend. We did so many fun activities with the 8th graders that the photos took four albums.

Grade 8 Trip to Sattahip Naval Base

A total of 35 students and their teacher chaperones toured the naval base, tried out the parachute jump simulator, visited a turtle conservation center, went swimming in the beach, and held a talent show.

Food Sale

The Student Council would like to inform you that on Friday, the 8th of November 2002, during the “Lower School” and “Upper School” lunch periods, the TCIS Student Council will be holding our first semester “Food Sale” event. Last year’s Food Sale was a total success, thanks to the help and support of the TCIS Administration, canteen personnel, TCIS staff, custodians, parents, and students. We intend to sell food items such as chicken dish, pork dish, sushi, cakes, pastries, and desserts.

We would greatly appreciate it if any of you could also help us out in any way you can by donating food items to our event.
