Are you proposing this instead of our school e-mail? I think we have good communication channels, now. How does this work with a school web page?
Answer: Good question but the answer is "No, Joe." Messages published in this blog should be intended for students and parents, and yes, teachers as well as external stakeholders who might be interested in ongoing school activities and programs -- as an alternative or option outside the schoolmail which is exclusive to teachers and accessible only in school. As explained in the e-mail, this is only a demo of what blogging or a content-based web authoring software is like. For the next school year we can set up accounts for individual teachers (if they wish) so they will have an easy-to-manage-and-update page to inform, remind, advise students and parents about lessons and activities in school.
